Note: Keherrer- George Keherrer, 75 of 600 Ridge Street, died at his residence at 5 p.m. Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Keherrer; two daughters, Mrs. D. S. Tuley and Mrs. R. L. Drago, both of Houston; two sons, Edward R. Keherrer of Beaumont and Lee Keherrer of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Frond Huebner of Bay City; one brother, Adolph Keherrer of Schulenburg; and three grandchildren. Time of the funeral services will be announced by the Boulevard funeral home. Rev. A. B. Haynes will officiate and burial will be in Hollywood cemetery. Boulevard funeral home directing. Note: He was a commissioned officer in Company K, 7th Alabama Infantry.
Walter entered the service of the State of Alabama on the 6th of
April, 1861 as Sargeant. He was captured on November 25, 1864 near
Florence, Alabama; and was sent to Rock Island Prison. He was paroled
about April 11, 1965.
Mr. Walter Glenn died Thursday night of an organic affection of the
heart, from which he had suffered, for some time past. He was about
60 years old, and a native of Kentucky, but had lived here since he
was a small child. He was a man of kind heart and good impulses. He
was formerly Deputy Sheriff of our county.
