Johnnie Dee Mullins, 91 of Boling, TX died Nov. 16, 2004 in Boling. She married R. P. "Dick" Mullins on Oct. 4, 1933 in Wharton, TX. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1979. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 at Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. David Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Wharton City Cemetery. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Ann and George Willrich of Boling and Nettie Dian and Mike Floyd of Tyler, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard P. and Deon Mullins, Jr. of Sugar Land, TX and A. A. "Gus" and Irene Mullins of Boling; son-in-law, Alvin Rolf of Boling; sister, Bonnie Zernack of Boling; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren. MULLINS

Johnnie Dee Mullins, 91, of Boling, Texas, died Tuesday, November 16, 2004 in Boling. She was born on November 16, 1913 in Needville, Texas, the daughter of the late John Robert Fechtner and Ethel Gordon Goldsmith Fechtner. Johnnie married R.P. �Dick� Mullins on October 4, 1933 in Wharton, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1979. She was a lifelong resident of Boling and graduated from Boling High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was a former Girl Scout Brownie leader and an avid gardener. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Wharton Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Allen officiating. Interment followed in the Wharton City Cemetery. Fietsam, Bertha (b. 05 FEB 1861, d. 04 FEB 1942)
Note: 57-Year Resident Of Weimar Buried On 81st Birthday

Funeral services were held at the St. Michael's Church here Thursday of last week for Mrs. Wm. Tell, pioneer resident of Weimar. Services were conducted by the Rev. August Otto. Interment was made in the Masonic [Odd Fellows] Cemetery. Mrs. Tell was born February 5, 1861 in Fayette County near La Grange. She was married to Mr. Wm. Tell on September 2, 1884. Mr. Tell died Feb. 2. 1940. Mrs. Tell had been a resident of Weimar 57 years. Her funeral was held on her 81st birthday. Mrs. Tell was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fietsam. She moved to Weimar in 1895 and had lived here since that time. Her father was postmaster at Weimar more than fifty years ago. She had been seriously ill for over a year. One sister. Mrs. Oscar Hilden of Shiner, survives. The Mercury extends sympathy to bereaved relatives. [Weimar Mercury, Friday, February 13, 1942, page 1]
