Note: Willrich Mason Wedding
A very pretty wedding was solemnized Wednesday evening at 8 oclock at the First Methodist Church when Miss Evelyn Mason was married to Hans O. Willrich. Reverend Cook of the McAshan Methodist church performing the ceremony. The church was attractively decorated with palms and ferns which were used to form an arch. From the middle of the arch a wedding bell, made of white roses was suspended. White roses and other seasonable flowers were used for the adornment of the church. Prof. Heinzleman played the Lohengrin Wedding March for the processional march and the Mendelssolm March as the recessional. He also accompanied Miss Laura Baines, who sangGod Made Thee Mine, preceding the ceremony. The bride was costumed in an elegant tailored suit of silk crepe which fashioned in the new fall style, was of the new brick shadings. Her hat of the same color showed a pleasing contrast of color by the use of blue plumes. Her bouquet, made of bride roses and fern, gave a finishing touch to the costume. A handsome bar pin, the gift of the groom, was the only ornament worn. She was given in marriage by her brother, C. T. Mason, and was met at the altar by the groom and the best man, L. O. Willrich. The ushers were Messrs. J. P. Mason, Walter B. Buschardt, J. H. Alsobrook Jr. and Mason A. Baines. Many handsome gifts were received among which were several cheques from the relatives of the groom. One particularly interesting telegram received was the congratulatory telegram from Abe Levy in New Hampshire. Immediately after the ceremony, the couple left for a stay at the Galvez, later going to La Grange. They will be at home after September 15 at 1611 Tuam Avenue, where they will be pleased to welcome their many friends. [The Houston Post, Thursday, August 13, 1914]

Groom Well Known Here
At the church of the Annunciation at Houston yesterday, L. O. Willrich and Miss Norrine Martin were happily married. Schulenburg Sticker: Two weddings took place in Weimar this week, Judge C. T. Hancock performing the ceremony in his usual dignified and impressive manner. The first took place on Monday night at the residence of Mr. Ed Seydler. The contracting parties were Mr. Hugo Richter and Miss Siddie Warnken. After the ceremony all repaired to the opera house, where a ball was given by the young men of Weimar. The second wedding took place Tuesday at the residence of the brides mother, where Miss Lena Seydler was happily united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. Anton Grossinger. Both weddings were quiet, and none but a few of the nearest relatives were invited. The Sticker wishes them much happiness, and may their troubles only be little ones.
