RUDOLPH E. BAUCH

ARANSAS PASS -- Rudolph E. ``Rudy'' Bauch, 87, of Aransas Pass and formerly of Goliad, died Monday, June 7, 1999. He was born May 27, 1912, in Goliad, to the late Rudolph and Christina Henke Bauch. He was retired from the city of Goliad and was Lutheran. Survivors: nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: sisters, Gertrude Bridges, Betty Bauch and Amanda Stewart; and brothers, Louis Bauch, Arthur Bauch, John Bauch, Andrew Bauch and Eckard Bauch. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 23, at 2:00 P.M. at the Koenig Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Ella Loessin of Rt. 1, Muldoon. Rev. Arlyn J. Hausmann of Swiss Alp officiated, and burial was in the Black Jack Cemetery. Mrs. Loessin passed away Friday at her home. She was 88. Born in Round Top on November 2, 1880, she was a daughter of Edward and Ella Baumann Bauer, and was married to Ferdinand H. Loessin on Nov. 21, 1906, at O�Quinn. Her husband passed away on July 2, 1952. She was a lifelong Fayette County resident. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elvira Schaefer of La Grange, Mrs. Gus (Erna) Sommer of Schulenburg, and Mrs. Velma Smirak of Black Jack; two sons, Leon of San Antonio and Roy of Black Jack; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Barr of Shiner; one brother, Emil Bauer of Moulton; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
